Moonwort gnome - Original painting (A5)
If you look at your plants, while you walk around the garden, you might spot a freshly cutted branch or two. This is probably the work of a garden gnome… They like to decorate their houses with beautiful flowers or colorful leafs. It has been said that the branch of the Moonwort (lunaria annua) is one of their favourites, as it is said to bring luck and prosperity to a home…
This piece is 14,3×23,5cm. It was handpainted with acrylic inks, gouache, watercolor and watercolor inks on 300g/m2 pure cotton paper. It is unique. It has accents of gold watercolor that does not completely show on camera, but, when it catches the light, is ever so pretty and subtle, which makes it even more unique.
